Getting to Phu Quoc Island from Ho Chi Minh city is quite easy. There are flights operated by Jetstar and Vietnam Airlines.

You can fly as well from Siem Reap with Cambodia Angkor Air or from Phnom Penh.

Cat Ba Island

Cat Ba Island is located in Ha Long Bay in the north east. Cat Ba is the biggest island in the Cat Ba archipelago. Its name means “Women’s Island.” 

The island offers many activities for tourists to enjoy, including kayaking, boat cruises through Halong Bay and Cat Ba Archipelago, hiking through the Cat Ba National Park, rock climbing mountain biking around the island, swimming on Monkey Island Resort private beach or exploring caves.

How to get to Cat Ba Island?

There are a few ways to get to Cat Ba Island from Hanoi. You can take a train or bus that takes around 5 hours and costs 80,000 VND one way.

Cham Islands

The Cham Islands are a group of eight islands located in the Quảng Nam province of Vietnam. The islands are about 30 minutes from the coast of Hoi An.

The islands are recognized as a world Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO and as Vietnam’s national scenic site. While visiting Cham islands you can see sea turtles, dolphins and coral reefs.

With so many beautiful beaches to choose from, you’ll probably find it hard to leave the island! The easiest way to get around is by motorbike or bicycle. Or, if you’re feeling more adventurous, why not try surfing and snorkelling instead?

Best and the fastest way to get to Cham Islands is to take the speedboat from the Cua Dai Pier. the trip takes 20 minutes, and tickets cost around $13 (300,000 VND). or you can take one of the organized tours

Binh Ba Island

Binh Ba island is located in the Khanh Hoa province, about 50 km northeast of Nha Trang.

The island is a great place to relax and enjoy beautiful beaches. The island is also home to a number of fishing villages, which offer a glimpse into traditional Vietnamese life.

You can explore the island by motorbike or bicycle, or take a boat trip to explore the surrounding islands. The island is also home to several night markets; perfect for souvenir hunting.

Bai Ang Island or Lobster Island are areas where foodies can enjoy delicious seafood after relaxing on their clean, calm and cosy white- sand beaches.

How to get to Nam Du Island?

There are two ways to get to Nam Du from Phu Quoc. You can either take a ferry which takes 1 hour and 30 minutes. The speed boat ride is of course faster.

Con Dao Islands and Con Son Island

Con Dao Islands are located in southern Vietnam, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province. The Con Dao Islands are a group of 16 islands, the largest of which is known as Con Son Island. The main island has a fascinating history, including its use as a prison island by the French colonists and later by the Saigon regime.

The islands are also naturally beautiful, with forested hills, deserted sandy beaches and extensive coral reefs. Around 80% of the land area of the archipelago is taken up by Con Dao National Park, offering primary jungle teeming with wildlife.

Hon Tre Island

Hon Tre Island is located in southern Vietnam, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.

Hon Tre is located in Kien Hai District, around 5 kilometres east of Nha Trang’s city centre.
